The thing about fashion is that while, sure, brands make some scratch off their clothes, accessories are where it's really at. Handbags, jewelry and eyewear bring in so much paper, it's really insane. To be honest, I think it's because they're subtle flexes with a relatively low barrier of entry that allow customers to get in on a piece of the action. So it should come as no surprise that everyone, even smaller, less established brands, are getting in on the accessories game so heavy. Acne is the latest to realize the potential, launching its own eyewear collection starting today. You can pick up a pair of frames from a pretty nice selection at the brand's stores or online. Of course, it wouldn't be Acne without a healthy dose of weirdness and awkwardness, kind of like that time in your life when actual acne was a legitimate problem. These "Spitfire" frames will make you look like a Hunter S. Thompson doppelgänger, which is kind of dope. But for my money, of which I have none, it's all about these "Mask" joints, so I can gallivant throughout these streets without a single hater seeing the evil in my eyes as I mentally rip their garbage fit to shreds.
