Women's Wear Daily Will No Longer Be Daily, Does Not Plan On Changing Its Name

None

Women's Wear Daily has been around for more than 100 years. It's really a monument to the enduring appeal of fashion. The iconic and sometimes completely terrible trade mag has brought us some good shit over the history of Four Pins—such as the announcement of Dot Luxury—and tends to provide trend commentary that's a little bit less ridiculous and a few years earlier (i.e. 1 year late vs. 5) than that of The New York Times (still love you, NYT). But today, WWD announced that it would be dropping it's daily print editions in favor of a single, weekly edition, the final daily being delivered on April 24th. Of course, that doesn't mean it's going to stop with that daily fire content though. Because the web is the future, it will continue to buff up its digital presence. Granted, I have literally never seen anyone read a physical copy of WWD.

Onto the question that's on nobody's mind: No, WWD has no intention of changing its name, which is a straight bummer because WWW and having to go to www.www.com would be so fucking sick.
