Trademark is well aware that basics don’t necessarily have to be boring.

For Spring 2015, the NYC-based brand presents another round of season essentials that continue its preppy-meets-sportswear aesthetic. And much like its previous collection, this range is relatively clean and simple but dodges the dullness through bright colors, relaxed silhouettes, and attention to detail.

Items like crew neck sweatshirts, tees, button-downs, and work pants are elevated through a variety of textures, fabrics, and patterns that nod to the rich culture of India. You’ll see subtle accents on the ribs and cuffs, as well as patches and Indian city names scattered throughout. But the X factor of this collection is definitely the technical detailing. The buttons on casual nylon shirts are replaced with snaps; waterproof pullovers were crafted to fit into a travel pouch; while a black parka is presented with a durable oversize shell.

Check out the Spring 2015 collection in the images below. The featured items are available today at Trademark's flagship in SoHo, as well as its online store.
