Long gone are the days of Palace solely making clothes for your local skater, and the brand takes another leap forward here with its Spring/Summer 2015 collection. While the new offering stays true to Palace's ethos as a skate brand by infusing function into every piece, Palace is also offering items that will fit anyone's lifestyle.

The new highly technical collection features T-shirts, nylon track jackets, and bomber jackets made out of 100 percent felton wool. This season, Palace is also introducing a line of tees that utilize thermochromic dyes, which changes color based on the temperature. Palace founder Lev Tanju told i-D, "It just makes sense for us to try and make more technical stuff. Function is important when you're outside skating a lot." However, this experimentation and attention to detail also led to making higher quality products, like the bomber jacket, which is entirely made in Britain.

Tanju says that collaborating with companies like adidas Originals and Reebok has given him a greater knowledge about fabric and production techniques.

The Spring/Summer 2015 collection will hit Palace's webstore on March 13.
