Designer Jonathan Anderson and iconic cult director and photographer Larry Clark have come together to release a new book titled The Smell of Us. The 48-page project released by Document Journal is a series of photos documenting the filming of Clark’s new movie of the same name that follows the lives of teenage skaters in Paris. The actors are sporting pieces from Anderson’s spring/summer 2015 collection.
While the duo seem like an unlikely pair—with Anderson being in the realm of high-fashion and Clark exposing the gritty side of youth culture—the worlds seem to collide perfectly with the 70s-inspired pieces that don't make the teens look like they're trying to hard.
The Smell of Us is available exclusively at Colette in Paris and will be distributed in the Document Journal's spring/summer 2015 issue.
