Last week we told you about a new web application called Emoji.ink that allows you to paint with emoji characters, and we created a few crude examples just to show you how it works. Our paintings were a little basic, but at least one talented artist has been using the program to create impressive works of art. Internet artist Yung Jake has been posting his emoji portraits on Twitter of recognizable celebrity faces including Kim KardashianRae Sremmurd, Young Thug, Wiz Khalifa, and Larry David.

The portraits are incredibly complex, considering that they are made entirely out of smileys, cookies, basketballs, and other emojis. Yung Jake has been asking his followers on Twitter to suggest new faces for him to create. Click through to the Emoji.ink app to make your own, and make sure to tag us when you post them online.
