Next month, VFILES will open Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week with the fourth installment of its VFILES MADE FASHION show, a fully VFILES-sourced production that highlights the work of up-and-coming creatives in the fashion industry. For the first time ever, all aspects of the production—designers and stylists, hair, makeup, and even the models—will be sourced from VFILES' online community.

Since being founded in 2012 by Julie Anne Quay, VFILES has seen considerable growth to include a full content platform, an in-house line, and retail shop in New York’s SoHo. However, the core of its business has always been its online community, where users showcase their work and connect with other like-minded fashion creators and consumers. The VFILES MADE FASHION show is a direct extension of that philosophy.

Winners were selected by the VFILES editorial team, as well as a panel of industry mentors including former Vogue editor and brand consultant Candy Pratts Pirce, and editor-in-chief of Style.com, Dirk Standen. Submissions were judged on vision, relevance, saleability, and entrant’s ability to inspire and build the VFILES community. This year’s featured designers include Ximon Lee, DI$COUNT UNIVERSE, Andrea Jiapei Li, and Julia Seemann.

The show will take place  at The Pavilion at Lincoln Center on Feb. 11 at 8:00 p.m. If past shows are any indication, it will bring out not only a who’s who of celebrities and editors, but also a huge showing of members from the community
