Last week, tabloid magazine In Touch photoshopped Bruce Jenner to look like a woman on the cover of one of its issues. To be more specific, the publication placed Jenner's head on the body of 66-year-old "Dynasty" star Stephanie Beacham

Kris Jenner isn't happy about the cover, and she's not alone. There's now a petition for the cover, demanding an apology from In Touch

The petition was started by Julie Mastrine, who called the cover "insensitive."

"Publicly speculating as to whether or not someone will be coming out as transgender illustrates a flippant lack of empathy toward people who actually struggle with making a gender transition,” explained Mastrine in the petition. “It illustrates a disregard for the struggles trans* people face and robs Jenner of his right to identify as he wishes."

The petition is roughly 200 signatures shy of its 4,000 goal.

Jenner has received a lot of flack for his physical appearance, but it's just ludicrous that In Touch would go so far as to Photoshop the Olympic Gold medalist's face on the body of an older woman. Then again, it is In Touch, and you can't expect much from them.
