The problem with some stock photography is that the people in them are just too damn happy. The couples are always smiling, the days are always sunny, and the scenes are always unbelievably perfect. Los Angeles-based art director Matt Vescovo decided to "inject reality into an unreal world" by inserting himself into the photos and dubbing himself "The Stock Photobomber."

According to Daily Mail, Vescovo "viewed some 845,742,923,012 stock images" while working at the advertising agency BBDO. "I find that when I look at stock photos, I experience the same uncomfortable feeling I have when my bank teller asks me with a forced smile, how my morning is going... or see an interview with Tom Cruise," said Vescovo, adding that "it’s not simply that my teller's greeting, and the celebrity Scientologists, are fake, it's how hard they pretend that they're not."
By photobombing the images, Vescovo creates new "realities" that are just as absurd as the ones portrayed in the stock photos. They're also a whole lot funnier, much like the work of PeejeT, who recently inserted himself into Amber Rose's legendary Instagram balcony photo.
