Not long after Oscar de la Renta passed away in October, his friend and former Vogue editor, André Leon Talley, began curating an exhibit to honor the designer's legacy. The show will be held at Savannah College of Art and Design, where ALT is a member of the school's board.

De la Renta is known for dressing royalty and Hollywood elite, and the exhibit will feature dresses worn by some of the designer's most famous clients, including Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift, Hillary Clinton and Sarah Jessica Parker. Talley doesn't mean for the exhibit to be a comprehensive look at the designer's career; he told WWD it's “my interpretation of Oscar’s legacy through his work and my memory of it.”

The exhibit is just one project Talley has in the works to pay tribute to de la Renta's legacy. Talley is also putting together a book that will be released in September titled "Oscar de la Renta: His Legendary World of Style."

The exhibit will open on Feb. 5 and run through May 3.
