Earlier this month, it was announced that Nigo would be joining forces with WTAPS designer Tetsu Nishiyama for a new apparel project dubbed “Doubtful as Double.” And although the offering won’t officially launch until March 2015, the two Japanese fashion legends are delivering a sneak peek at what’s to come.

Beginning this weekend, Doubtful as Double will reveal limited-edition items from its upcoming range in an exhibition in Aoyama, Tokyo. As we can see from the image above, the event will showcase five graphic tee designs that reference 1980s Japanese surf culture, along with several collectable items made from American dollar bills.

Judging by the success of Nigo’s recent collaboration with adidas, it’s safe to assume this inaugural Spring/Summer 2015 collection will gain a lot of hype. And we can’t wait to see what else the men have in store.

The Doubtful as Double exhibit will take place at the Gyre venue this Saturday, followed by a retail launch at Japan’s ZOZOTOWN. Stay tuned as more information about the collection rolls in.
