Former President George W. Bush shocked the world last year when his secret art skills were exposed by a hacker, but he has since embraced his new role as a painter, showing his work in an exhibition and talking about his hobby on television and in interviews. In a recent appearance on the Today Show to promote his new book about his father, George H. W. Bush, Bush Jr. shared a never-before-seen painting of them together, smiling as they look off into the distance with the light in their faces.

"I was very proud to be standing next to a man I admire greatly," Bush told Savannah Guthrie. "First thing I wanted to make sure is I got the noses right. I've tried to paint a gentle soul, and I did it. As for me, I kind of bumbled through."
