As a part of their Project M art initiative, Urban Nation opened a pop up show in Berlin curated by Jonathan LeVine Gallery on Oct. 25 titled "Greetings from New York City: Jonathan LeVine Gallery Visits Berlin." The group exhibition is the sixth in the series meant to promote "community and creative exchange," with previous installments curated by the likes of Roland Henry and VNA Magazine, Andrew Hosner, Nuart, and Yasha Young.
This year's show features work by a dozen artists: AJ Fosik, DALeast, Dan Witz, EVOL, Faile, Gary Baseman, Jeff Soto, Kevin Cyr, Nychos, Olek, Saner and Tara McPherson. Six of the artists also got the opportunity to visit Berlin and create pieces for the show, which runs through Nov 28. DALeast painted a large-scale mural on the Urban Nation building, while Dan Witz, Jeff Soto, Nychos, Olek and Saner created 10x10 panels to be displayed in the windows.
