Shwood are a damned cool company. They make solid wooden sunglasses and have been doing so for years, even experimenting with slate for their frames in 2013. They started off in the game by experimenting with a limb from a Madrone tree, a rusty pair of cabinet hinges, and lenses from a corner store, and slowly but surely worked their way up to the established and respected brand they are today.

For 2014, they have once again teamed up with the guys over at Pendleton for a collaborative effort, which once again, comes off clean and cool. Choosing to work on the Shwood “Canby” frames, they've used a dark walnut colouring, and they've used laser-engraving to mark the arms with Pendleton’s Rancho Arroyo pattern. Each pair comes with a custom Pendleton wool pouch, perfect for keeping your shades accessible and protected.
