Guys, normally Penfield doesn't pop up on my radar. Not because they make bad clothes, but because I'm a fashion writer and in order to maintain that illusion I have to wear more expensive versions of the same clothes you wear. But another thing about being a fashion writer is that you also get to unexpectedly work in "accessible" pieces that show you're down to earth and have a sense of personal style. I'll never admit that I'm down to earth, but if I had to choose a shirt to disguise the fact, this would be my piece. First, ripstop nylon makes up this shirt. There is no second or "B" or any other supporting details to this fact. Ripstop nylon is part of the ripstop fabric family, and ripstop nylon makes up the D-Miles/Q-Rich of fabric combos. If you're not an old head like I am, or even a middle-aged head (which is a term I just made up), you probably don't even understand that reference, which sucks for you.
