Kaptain Sunshine calls this thing a varsity jacket, but I'm not taking anyone who calls themselves "Kaptain Sunshine" seriously, ESPECIALLY when it comes to jacket taxonomy. That shit gets really complicated really quick and I also don't really care enough to figure out what genre of jacket this falls under. Can't you just be satisfied with the cotton twill outer and tweed lining? Goddamn, this is a perfect "off-duty" jacket. You know how magazines are always like, "10 Off-Duty Looks That'll Make Sure You Close the Deal On Your Day Off"? My days off are unsurprisingly, very similar to my work days, but I'm all about having themed alphets. To be honest though, my "off-duty" look would probably not include expensive Japanese jackets, but a whole lot of Seamless and recreational drug use instead.
