Cav Empt is definitely the weirdest clothing brand that I really like. Full props due to lord Jon Moy for this one because before he wrote about one of their jackets awhile back, I had no idea a brand like this even existed. The gear is just always straight on some nonsensical shit. Like, they bring in an interpretive artist every season and pick the imagery they're going to stick with for the next six months. To be completely honest, any item with a weird, distorted photo of a woman in black and white will probably draw my attention in without a second thought, which is why I'm all the way down with this Cav Empt pullover. It may be a bit of a departure from everything neutral for me, but I guess the natural expansion out of an exclusively black/white/navy wardrobe is to go to olive and khaki, right? I also enjoy that it doesn't have a hidden hood. A lot of these types of jacket have the whole concealable hood thing going on and I'd prefer to just not have to think about jamming that back into the collar. This also has said black and white woman printed on the sleeves rather than plastered in the middle of the chest or back, which shows to civilians that I like classy pornography, not the disgusting stuff that populates our Internet bandwidth these days. You kids should be fucking ashamed of yourselves.
