After unveiling his highly anticipated collaborative line with H&M, designer Alexander Wang hosted an official launch party last night that attracted some of the world’s most recognizable figures in fashion and entertainment.
Celebrities like Solange Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Jessica Chastain, and Dakota Fanning flocked to one of NYC’s most distinguished sporting venues to celebrate the upcoming release of the collection. Typically an indoor track-and-field facility, the Armory on the Hudson was a fitting location to launch the sports-infused Alexander Wang x H&M line.
Attendees were treated to a pop-up shop, musical performances by Sharaya and Missy Elliott, and of course an epic runway show that was more like a sporting event than a clothing presentation. Decked out in various athletic gear—from hockey masks and boxing gloves to football helmets and scuba equipment—the models showcased the collection's assortment of sports-tinged clothing and accessories, which was introduced with an elaborate show of acrobatic stunts.

The Alexander Wang x H&M collection will officially drop Nov. 6 at select H&M retailers and online.
