Continuing a string of recent high-profile partnerships, adidas Originals delivered a sneak peak at its highly-anticipated collaboration with Nigo last week—showcasing a handful of reinterpreted pieces from the adidas archives.

Today, the brand presents a full look at the forthcoming apparel range, which deftly mixes sportswear aesthetics with streetwear sensibilities, resulting in a style that is unmistakably Nigo.

Drawing inspiration from pop art, vintage clothing, toys, and the 1980s, the collaborative line has an obvious BAPE vibe running through the selection of sportswear staples. Bold colorways, playful patterns, and cartoon graphics play nicely against adidas’ signature details like the trefoil logo and three-stripe motif.

"I wanted to put something of myself in it but not in an expected way," said Nigo. "I think people associate me with all-over prints, but this time I wanted to make something different, something that a wide range of people—from children to adults—could wear. But nothing too dramatic."

The adidas Originals by Nigo line will officially drop worldwide on Oct. 24, along with its accompanying sneaker line. Until then, you can check out the full collection below, as well as a short video in which Nigo discusses his unique approach to collaboration.
