Late last week, the world learned that Miley Cyrus' late-night crafting hobby was turning into sculptures and accessories for Jeremy Scott's spring/summer 2015 New York Fashion Week show. In an in-depth Q&A with V magazine, Miley explained the purpose of the pieces she had been making and sharing on Instagram. She says, "I had a bunch of fucking junk and shit, and so instead of letting it be junk and shit, I turned it into something that made me happy." In explaining the pieces, which artist Todd James helped her finish, she adds, "There’s something sexy about the masks. They’re a little fucked up and childish."

Once Jeremy Scott saw the pieces at Miley's house (during a 4th of July party, no less), he asked her about turning them into accessories for the show, which happened yesterday at Milk Studios. The sculptures that were backstage will move to V magazine's offices at 11 Mercer Street in New York for an exhibition titled "Dirty Hippie."

We captured the pieces backstage and on models during the show.
