For those who have yet to get their hands on some of COS' minimalist threads, the Scandinavian retailer has released an unexpected project that allows you to see and hear items from its current collection. That's right, hear.

Created by Amsterdam-based duo Lernert Engelberts and Sander Plug, “The Sound of Cos” highlights the Swedish retailer’s best offerings for the Fall/Winter 2014 season. But rather than focus on the appearance of the range, this video cleverly emphasizes its noise.

Drawing inspiration from the work of foley artists, the behind-the-scene professionals who recreate ambient sounds for TV and film, this project utilizes everyday items to replicate what we often hear when getting dressed. The exaggerated echo of clacking shoes, rubbing fabric, and the fastening of buttons are each synchronized with the movement of two models projected on a studio screen.

Take a look at the short film above, and head over to COS’ online store to shop the featured items and the rest of the current collection.
