Shitty weather is inevitable. But thanks to Swedish outerwear brand Stutterheim, you finally have a reason to embrace it.

For the fall/winter 2014 season, the label continues its commitment to quality and style with a slew of bold and sleek updates to some of its most classic rainwear designs. But the standout addition is definitely the OPAL. Based on Stutterheim’s original silhouette, the Stockholm, this raincoat features a high-shine rubberized coating with welded seams, resulting in a piece that will keep you dry and break necks on the street.

There are also a couple of new stripe patterns for the Stockholm, as well as the introduction of two new colorways—purple and charcoal. But that’s not all. The state-of-the-art Arholma design also gets a new look with a red variation of the modernized fishermen coat.

Don’t be put off by all these implementations, though. The updates are refreshing but still adhere to the label’s signature style of clean and classic handmade coats.

Check out designs from the collection below, and be sure to stop by Stutterheim’s online store to pick up your favorites, old and new.
