Russian performance artist Mischa Badasyan is taking one for the team. Actually, he is taking 365 for team, all for the sake of artistic expression and discovery. What will he be taking, you ask? Penises. Badasyan will be taking penises.

The Berlin-based artist has announced a project titled "Save the Date," a durational performance that involves sexual intercourse with a new partner everyday for a year in "non-places." Women need not apply, however, because Badasyan is only looking for fellas for his dates. In an interview with Vocativ, he defined non-places as "supermarkets, shopping malls, airports and other largely anonymous spots where people lose a sense of identity and feel like they don’t belong." He called the performance his "most sophisticated and dangerous work of art, in terms of mental health," and confessed that it will be difficult and that he is afraid.

So what's the catch? The dates won't be told of his physical intentions. "Generally, I’m not going to tell my dates about this project. What if I tell you I just had sex with you for an art project? People won’t like that. It’s horrible." Badasyan did express concerns about STDs, but he told Vocativ that he has been tested and will use condoms for every encounter. An unnamed "German director" will be creating a documentary about the process, which will hopefully include interviews with some of the men.

We're not entirely sure what sex with 365 people will reveal about "the relationship between sex and loneliness," but we know a few good brothels and street corners where he could talk to people instead of spending all that cash on doctor's visits, Trojans, and car detailing.
