Yo, you know what's fucked up? When I was a young'n, dudes used to get bullied for wearing Reebok. I AIN'T EVEN PLAYING, DAWGIES. I distinctly remember some kid in my class being asked to take OFF his Classics because the rest of the class were "too distracted" by their presence. TEACHERS WERE LITERALLY AGREEING WITH BULLIES IN THAT THIS CRYING KID'S REEBOKS WERE TOO LAME TO WEAR. But Reebok has upped its game since '97. Their recent Garbstore collabs have been fire and I'm now the proud owner of several (dozen) pairs. I even picked up a beige set in clearance a few weeks ago. FIFTY PERCENT OFF. I'm the lord of this struggle, bruh.
These GL-6000s are a little too weird for me though. They're oddly chunky and I'm not a big fan of that mesh-like material they've used on the toe box and sides. That said, the sole and heel counter are exactly the same as the aforementioned beige Garbstore joints and, like every other single Four Pins scribe, I'm an absolute sucker for gum soles. So maybe I'll pick these things up when they’re at 50% idk. Either way, they drop August 29th on End.
