M. Nii makes pretty damn simple garments. Moy got a four hour, possibly Cialis-induced, boner over their wool-jersey knit one last week. Now, I'm jacked up on Vitamin B12 shots with a hard on for this long-sleeve tee with a stripe across the chest. What is it about a stripe of contrasting color that gets me going? I can't really tell you. But I can explain that the only real differentiator between this exact shirt and a $160 priced one from the next hot streetwear brand is basically the chest pocket and the fit. Hell, you could probably rip the pocket off and stretch the shirt real carefully and save yourself 60 bucks. This is easily one of my least favorite things about explaining fashion to people. They'll ask, "Why don't you just buy this instead? It's exactly the same." And you have to explain to your clueless mom why that swagless JCPenney plaid flannel is COMPLETELY different from that Fear of God one that's 10 times the price and, like, two inches longer in the front. Don't worry, she'll eventually give up and you wont' have to deal with it anymore. Trust Me.
