Nanamica, the Japanese brand founded by Eiichiro Homa in 2003, was tough to get outside of Japan. That is until a few shops got their hands on the brand's covetable pieces. One of those is Canadian retailer Haven, who recently caught up with Eiichiro for its latest episode of the "A Conversation With" series.

With an 18-year-plus background in design, Eiichiro knows how to do more than just transfer details from old garments. He's well versed in the purpose of each and uses the latest tech fabrics to improve traditional garments. This is why people are willing to pay an arm and a leg for a proxy service just to be able to buy nanamica items. Peep the video above if you want to know what it feels like to step inside nanamica's Japan store and see what gems you can cop.
