eBay conducted another survey, this time breaking down what trends men and women wore back in the day, and now, looking back, are either embarrassed or proud of. The findings are pretty interesting, to say the least.

According to the survey, men voted cargo pants "the coolest" item of clothing they wore in the '90s, while women said their favorite was butterfly clips. Both sexes admitted that overalls were a terrible look for both men and women.

But that's not all. The survey gets even more fascinating—and hilarious—when eBay asks the 1,000 participants surveyed what trends they wore in the era, if they still rock it now, and whether or not they'd participate in the trend today if it were back in style. The guys were asked these questions in regards to flat tops, track jackets, cargo pants, hoop earrings, overalls, and sweaters around the waist. Perhaps the most shocking stat is that 62 percent of men say they would still wear cargo pants in 2014. Only less than half of those surveyed said they would still wear the other '90s trends now.

The '90s gave birth to some of the best trends, but we can't say we understand the love for cargos.
