COS, the fellow brand of Swedish fast-fashion giant H&M has pushed back plans to open its brick and mortar storefront from this fall to "early winter."

Announced last year, COS had plans to open up a fully realized storefront in spring 2014 (eventually moved to fall 2014) at 129 Spring Street in NYC. This was expected to be the label's first physical shop in the good ol' U.S. of A. In the interim, the minimalist label has had a brief one month pop-up shop at Opening Ceremony and even launched their e-commerce site to the American buying public.

Unfortunately, the label has announced that it will be pushing back the shop's opening mark to sometime around "early winter" this year.

The pushback is a disappointment, especially considering the label's ability to churn out quality crafted collections—at prices most likely found at the locations of its sister label H&M. While you won't be able to shop COS' collections in person quite yet, don't sleep on the brand's webshop, where you can still pick up all of the Scandinavian style that fashion heads and minimalists are currently lusting over.
