Virgil Abloh's Off-White brand has very quickly ascended from a passion project to a full-fledged name causing serious waves. The brand takes design cues based on Abloh's observations made in NYC, Paris, Milan, and other spaces that don't hold the title of a fashion capital, but still inspire Off-White's increasingly sophisticated products. In an interview with the lauded CR Fashion Book, Abloh took the time to explain how he arrived at the label's name, his education and training as an architect, and what he has planned for Off-White's future. In short, expect more than clothes, as Abloh expands the label to an entire offering of a particular lifestyle, including the launch of "art exhibitions and furniture collections, to further reinforce the overall brand vision." Stay tuned, because when this dude puts his mind to something, you know it's going to come to fruition.
