After New York Magzine's The Cut revealed the head designer of Maison Martin Margiela's Head Designer Couture and Artisanale line was outed as Matthieu Blazy, we did some digging and came up with the Head Menswear Designer of the incredibly secretive house.

His name is Cristophe Copin, and he's designed the spring/summer 2014 and fall/winter 2014/15 so far. Copin's been at Margiela for a minute now, putting in time as the men's and women's senior knitwear designer for a few seasons. He came to Margiela in 2011 after spending seven years at his own brand that he founded jauge sept, a knitwear line for both men and women. Copin also spent a few years honing his skills at Balenciaga and Marithé + François Girbaud

So there you have it—the incredibly anonymous design team of Maison Martin Margiela, which never assigned an individual's name to a single letter or announcement, is revealing its faces one by one.
