These Funny Illustrations Depict the Teams That Lost Previous World Cups

The last thing these teams need before the World Cup in Brazil is to be reminded by cute illustrations that they lost before.

You know what sucks more than losing at the World Cup? Having someone draw you and your team decades later to remind the world how much you suck. Artist Craig Robinson created a series of illustrations entitled "Partakers" which he says depicts "the fairly good, the average, and the kinda rubbish teams" that failed to perform well enough at the big dance.

The works in the series are chronological, beginning with the artist's birthday year, 1970. The teams of England, Cameroon, Romania, Nigeria, Japan, and other countries are forced to remember the sad faces that their predecessors wore, and they can only hope that they wont' be making the same faces this summer.

Head to Robinson's website to see more of his projects and to learn more about the "Partakers" art.
