This video of a Shaolin Monk hurling a needle through a sheet of glass is unbelievable. The video was created using a Phantom HD Camera, which takes 1,000 frames per second. In order for the needle to penetrate the glass, the thrower had to whip it through the air at a velocity of 150 km/hour in a perfectly straight line.

The Buddhist monks at the Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng, China, are famous for their incredible martial arts skills. Well versed in kung fu and wushu, these monks have been captured performing a number of crazy stunts, like breaking objects with the heels of their palms and doing handstands on two fingers.
