Jay Z is one of the most influential people in the world. From alcoholic beverages to suits and ties, whatever Jay endorses, it's likely people are already waiting to cop. So when images of Hov wearing a grey LDRS sweatshirt to Coachella hit the internet, the crewneck almost sold out instantly.
Leaders is a streetwear shop in Chicago. The store's founder, Diego Ross, says that every time Jay wears an item from the store it sells out online. “The last time he wore a sweatshirt and posted it, we sold out the same day," he told the Chicago Sun-Times. "We got a lot of phone orders from New York and London. People in (Chicago) already have it. He has been seen in this sweatshirt three or four times. That tells me he likes it.”
Up-and-coming streetwear brands take note.
