For a segment on Great Day Houston, the parents and friends of the late graffiti artist NEKST (aka Sean Griffin) spoke about his prolific career, what he did for the city of Houston and for graffiti, and the love that people have shown around the world since his passing. His parents reveal that they knew he painted murals but had no idea that he did illegal pieces or that he was such a big deal to so many people.
It's awesome that NEKST is getting this kind of respect, especially on a television program in his own city, but it would be nice if he were alive for it.
