Urban Outfitters is opening up a massive four-story shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn today called Space Ninety 8. We went to the hipster capital of the world to ask local residents and visitors what they thought of the store opening up in the neighborhood. Some people seemed to welcome the new business, especially after hearing that it would house and showcase local independent designers, as well as provide a gallery space that will host pop-up shops with a rotating cast of labels. Others were appalled or unsurprised that a national mall store was coming to the area to capitalize on a very specific image.
