Everyone must have seen the “First Kiss” video that’s been floating around the Internetz. How could you miss it? It’s been shared on every social media platform in the past 48 hours. Anyway, we hate to break it to you, but the video is actually an ad for clothing brand WREN.

A quick description reads, “We asked twenty strangers to kiss for the first time.” Strangers, yes, but plenty of the cast are musicians (Damian Kulash of OK Go, Justin Kennedy of Army Navy), actors (Karim Saleh and Matthew Carey), and models ( Natalia Bonifacci and Ingrid Schram). Usually these types of situations bring out awkward tendencies in all of us, but some seem to go full tongue with no problem. Something tells us they’ve been here before. Was there real chemistry? Maybe. But the situation would have much different results if they were strangers off the street. True randos might just give each other a kiss on the cheek and not full tongue action.

Well, some Don Draper figured out a way to get one million hits for a clothing brand. Give that man a bonus for this faux social experiment.
