Because Grammys and Oscar nominations are not enough, Pharrell Williams has decided to continue his world domination by infiltrating the world of architecture. The producer, designer, and all around polymath has been announced as this year's keynote speaker at the AIA National Convention in Chicago this summer.

Pharrell will join Theaster Gates and architect Jeanne Gang as a special speaker for the event, though we aren't really sure why. As Arch Dailypoints out, he did mention a possible collaboration with Zaha Hadid on a pre-fab home project last year, but there are some in the art world who are not convinced that he has done enough to deserve this gig. As someone who has his hands on everything and can talk to just about anyone, we're curious what he will have to say.
