There are lots of boring sneaker photos floating around online and in print, so it's refreshing when someone thinks outside of the box to do more with their footwear photography than weird angles and light tricks. In a recent project for Sneakers Magazine, Joseph Ford decided to bring in a few props to make the shoot more exciting. He paired real snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, and a surly crocodile with various silhouettes from Nike, Puma, Lacoste, Asics, adidas, and Vans, all set against brightly colored backgrounds. The animals almost seem fake, but then there's the great video clip below that shows why this is one of the greatest sneaker shoots of all time.
