Skate parks are cool when they’re not crowded and people have the space to practice tricks, but unless they keep weird hours, that is a luxury that most skaters never get to experience. Professional skateboarder Bob Burnquist doesn’t have to worry about busy ramps because he's rich enough to afford his own, but that doesn’t mean that he can't have another.
In collaboration with Visit California, Burnquist and his team of ramp designers built the ultimate structure for private skating: a floating ramp out on Lake Tahoe. Water and skate ramps aren’t usually the best pairing, but this just looks insanely fun so it doesn't matter. Chances are you can't do this if you visit Lake Tahoe, but you can still enjoy the awesome footage below.
