After being shortlisted last month, Tommaso Lanza, Ross Cairns, and David Di Duca of the artist collective The Workers have been announced as the winners of the IK Prize 2014 for their "After Dark" project that involves using robots to explore the Tate Modern at night. The trio has been awarded £10,000 in cash and a £60,000 production budget to build and program the robots and interface, giving "visitors" the ability to move around and see the museum at night without having to leave their homes.

Wikipedia founder and IK Prize judge Jimmy Wales called The Workers' proposal "truly exciting and original." He continued by saying that by "combining behind-the-scenes intrigue with a sense of exploration, the project will give people all over the world a unique experience of 500 years of British art." How long people will be able to control the robots and the queue system will have to be figured out, but we hope we get to participate in this awesome project soon.
