Bruce Weber is a well-known fashion photographer and filmmaker. He’s shot for various publications, such asVogue, GQ, and Vanity Fair. Now, Shinola has tapped him to focus his lens on the city of Detroit for a series of photographs and short clips.
Detroit is, all too often, portrayed as a city that’s crumbing. But this new campaign highlights the positive side of things. Weber brings his in-your-face black and white style (as well as color) and shoots the people living in the city, and ends up capturing an upbeat outlook of a city in good spirits.
