2013 was a year of art history remixes. From Tumblrs like Beyonce Art History and The Carter Family Portrait Gallery to music videos packed with art historical references, last year the art world and music worlds collided. We decided to take this rap/art fusion one step further by creating our own versions of iconic rap albums using the works from Renaissance masters. What would happen if Leonardo Da Vinci created Jay Z's The Blueprint 3? How about if Caravaggio's Medusa was the Goblin on the cover of Tyler, The Creator's album? We won't ruin the list for you, but let's just say that our version of Yeezus features an obvious, divine reference. See all the hilarious mash-ups in our list of Rap Albums Re-imagined as Renaissance Paintings.
