For the past couple of days, the Internet has been buzzing with news and tributes for the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, found dead in his apartment in Manhattan on February 2. This collage was posted to the Twitter account of Daniel Clowes, a well-known cartoonist and screenwriter. The image features various Hoffman illustrations done throughout the actor's career by Clowes, Chris Ware, and Charles Burns for the films Savages and Happiness, and artwork for an interview in The Believer magazine.

It's cool to see photos of an actor in different roles, but it's even cooler to see their likeness attempted by different artists. A fitting tribute for a great actor.
