During the Opening Ceremony for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, the world came face to face with the trio of Russian mascots, including a very creepy looking polar bear. The mascots were unveiled many months ago (when the Hypnotoad was robbed of its glory), but these versions of the mascots were a lot weirder than the cute trinkets that people have been collecting. The bear in particular looked high and terrifying, resulting in the trending hashtag #NightmareBear.
