5 Menswear Trends We Saw at New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2014 is officially over. We've seen dozens of menswear collections over the past seven days and now it's time to dissect it all. Just like London Collection: Men, there were a few looks that seemed to repeat themselves over the course of the week. And as the "rule" goes, three's a trend.

Fur was the silver lining to a lot of collections.

Fur-lined anything can't help but scream luxe, so we're glad to see it on the runway a lot this season.

Zippers got weird.

There was a sense of nostalgia with techy, fleece outerwear.

There was a big lesson in layering.

Public School's debut runway show was all about layering a shirt on top of a jacket on top of a sweater on top of a jacket. But they were not the only one.

You know what they say about a man with a big scarf...

The rest of your outfit won't really matter when you're rocking a scarf that weighs the same as three babies. We can see this being a huge trend next season.
