The BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Artisan Series is an annual art competition presented by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® and the RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation designed to discover and foster new talent in visual art throughout the United States. This year, the 12 winning artists had the chance to display their work on a global stage at SCOPE Miami Beach. The Artisan Series exhibition was the culminating event of a week of shows curated by SCOPE, the international showcase for rising artists.

The RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation is the brainchild of brothers Russell and Danny Simmons, and has a specific mission to foster and promote artists of color, offering educational and artistic opportunities in communities where they might not otherwise exist. In support of this important mission, the organization held a fundraiser as part of the Artisan Series finale. This was accompanied by the Imaginative Pairings Dinner, which featured the work of the winning artists, as well as a menu of inspired food and drink pairings prepared by super star chef Tom Colicchio.

Entertainment for the event included performances by cutting edge jazz pianist ELEW, and Miami’s own DJ Irie. Among those in attendance at the fundraiser were Paris and Nicky Hilton, Tommy Hilfiger, and, of course, Tom Colicchio and the Simmons brothers.

To see more photos from the event, as well as the work of the winning artists, check out the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Artisan Series Facebook page.
