If you're tuning in to the Alamo Bowl on December 30, you'll see the University of Oregon Ducks take on the Texas Longhorns while wearing these spiffy new uniforms from Nike. The 2014 Mach Speed gear was unveiled today and color-wise, they're pretty standard: "Fighting Duck Green" against a white jersey with silver outlining the numbers and yellow and silver providing a nice contrast against the black uniform.

What the uniforms lack aesthetically, they make up for in the innovative tech that Nike always brings to the table. With "speed" in the name, you know that the company spent a lot of time developing lightweight jerseys and pants to match the strengths of the team. With "Nike Chain Maille 2.0" mesh fabric and stretch woven panels providing ventilation and a "lock down fit" in key areas, and with custom tailoring and a unique tri-blend of fabrics used to improve durability and range of motion, Nike and the Ducks are confident that new fits will translate into better performance on the field.
