5 Pointz curator and graffiti artist Meres One is back active following the sad death of his home in Long Island City. The artist recently completed this mural on the Elizabeth Street Graffiti Wall, a "designated graffiti area" on the side of clothing retailer Rag & Bone that has seen works from many different artists, not all of which painted graffiti. Meres One's piece is a tribute to the lost but never forgotten mural heaven that was recently whitewashed ahead of it's demolition. The mural features white, black, and silver lightbulbs with faces and #5pointz, #meresone, and #RestInPause written underneath them.

If you're in the neighborhood you should check it out during the month of December and use the hashtags in your social media posts.
