A couple months ago, we showed you the "Liberty" mural from Tristan Eaton in Little Italy for the L.I.S.A. Project NYC. Now we have photos of two new murals that have been recently completed for the project by artists Beau Stanton and Ripo. Stanton's piece was painted at Mulberry and Grand (outside of La Bella Vita) and features intricate patterns and a big ship in the center. Ripo's piece went up on the grates of Super Five Gift Shop Inc. on Mulberry between Hester and Grand, not far from Stanton's. His typographic piece is an homage to the neighborhood, taking inspiration from information found in the archives of the Italian American Museum as well as old New York Times headlines.
