The description of Googly Eye Books does the best job of explaining what the site is about: "A blog combining two of mankind's greatest achievements: literature and googly eyes." Not even serious works like Othello or The Giver are exempt from the transformative powers of the silly craft eyes. Imagine trying to read about a dystopian society that doesn't care for twin babies, then closing the cover to see an old man with these eyes looking up at you.
